Gabriel Hemery

Dr Gabriel Hemery is an author, tree photographer, and silvologist (forest scientist). He has written several books and appears regularly on TV and radio talking about trees and the environment. He co-founded an environmental charity for which he is currently the Chief Executive.\n\nGabriel’s first and award-winning book, The New Sylva, was published by Bloomsbury in 2014, celebrating the publication of John Evelyn’s Sylva 350 years before. His next main work was the biographical novel Green Gold, following the real and imagined exploits of a Victorian plant hunter.
